I
hope you had a restful weekend and enjoyed your holiday. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been
three weeks. Before you know it, we’ll
be talking about Winter Break plans! But
let’s enjoy the sunshine for now. While
we’re enjoying the sunshine, start planning the next two weeks, as we have
Back-to-School Night on 9/13 and Parent Conferences on 9/20. As always, I appreciate your patience and
commitment. And remember… “It’s great to be a Westside Wave, where we
transform potential into reality!”
Our week at a glance…
Although our week is short, it’s packed! Please stay up on things. Part of our commitment to our scholars and
their families is updated grades on the 1st and 3rd
Friday’s of each month. Please make sure
that your grades are updated so that both parents and colleagues have access to
accurate information. Friday at lunch,
we will continue with organized games, music and the scooter raffle. If you schedule avails, please plan to come
out and socialize for a bit and possibly lead a game or two! Please show the attached slide to your
Advisory class to remind scholars about the Friday lunchtime processes: events,
music and scooter drawing. Also remind
them that it’s not too late to purchase raffle tickets.
